The Role We are hiring an Operations Administrator to join the busy operations team based on-site in Preston. This role sits at the heart of the office and supports live projects through day-to-day coordination, purchasing, and operational administration. You will be the person who keeps things organised, moving, and controlled behind the scenes. While this is an administrative role by nature, it is not a passive support position. You will be trusted with responsibility, expected to apply judgement, and comfortable questioning requests where needed. What You’ll Be Doing • Raising and managing purchase orders., • Booking travel and accommodation for project teams., • Coordinating people and logistics at an operational level., • Managing consumables and assets, including ordering, receiving, packing, and distributing items to project crews., • Acting as a central point of contact for day-to-day operational requests., • Supporting multiple stakeholders across the business with accuracy and consistency., • Maintaining clear records and ensuring spend is tracked and controlled.
