Repairs Manager / Claims Manager \n Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 + benefits (weekly pay) \n Contract: Permanent | Full-time (35 hours) \n Working Hours: Monday–Friday (8am–4pm, 9am–5pm or 10am–6pm) \n Location: Office-based or some hybrid (depending on location) \n Areas: Around Newcastle/Sunderland area \n Hebburn / Washington / South Shields / Bolden Colliery \n Free parking on-site | accessible by public transport \n \n Overview \n An exciting opportunity to join a growing team delivering managed property repairs on behalf of leading UK insurers and loss adjusters. This fast-paced role is ideal for someone with experience in claims, property repairs or customer operations who thrives on organisation, communication and delivering excellent service. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Manage incoming repair claims from first notification through to completion\n, • Coordinate repairs via a trusted trades / contractor network\n, • Act as the main point of contact for customers, clients, surveyors and adjusters\n, • Monitor work-in-progress and ensure all SLAs and KPIs are met\n, • Arrange emergency repairs and track progress to resolution\n, • Obtain estimates, reports and supporting documentation\n, • Handle customer queries and complaints professionally\n, • Complete claim closure checks and prepare files for invoicing\n\n \n What We’re Looking For \n\n • Experience in insurance claims, property repairs or similar environment (social housing repairs/maintenance, contractor, facilities etc.)\n, • Strong customer service and communication skills\n, • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting\n, • Highly organised with strong attention to detail\n, • Confident using Microsoft Office and internal systems/job management systems (good IT skills)\n, • Positive, proactive and solution-focused approach\n\n \n What’s on offer \n\n • Competitive salary up to £30,000 (weekly pay)\n, • Hybrid working (office-based with flexibility) hours; 8-4, 9-5 or 10-6\n, • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays\n, • Ongoing training and career development opportunities\n, • Supportive, values-driven team environment\n\n \n Apply now with your CV to join a growing, well-respected organisation within the insurance claims sector. \n If you think you have the relevant experience for this Repairs Coordinator / Claims Manager role, please apply and provide a CV.
