You'll play a vital role in maximising equipment performance, supporting continuous improvement projects, and contributing to the overall reliability and efficiency of site operations.\n\nThe Job You Will Do:\n\n * Provide emergency breakdown support to production machinery and equipment\n\n * Conduct regular planned maintenance as per the maintenance schedule\n\n * Support the UK Engineering Manager with engineering projects, including design, specification, purchasing, and installation\n\n * Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs across a wide range of production and support equipment\n\n * Monitor equipment performance, identifying and resolving recurring issues\n\n * Maintain accurate records for all maintenance activities\n\n * Assist with external contractors and service engineers, ensuring adherence to safety standards\n\n * Ensure all work aligns with company Health & Safety, ISO 14001, and other internal and external compliance standards\n\n * Take part in initiatives to improve downtime, efficiency, and health and safety\n\n * Maintain a clean, organised and hazard-free work environment\n\nAbout You:\n\nIdeally HNC qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical preferred)\n\nRecognised time-served apprenticeship in Engineering Maintenance\n\nNVQ Level 3 in Maintenance Operations or equivalent\n\nProven maintenance experience in a factory/manufacturing environment (essential)\n\nPost-apprenticeship experience in a similar role (desirable)\n\nKnowledge of Motors, drives, PLCs, gearboxes, transmissions\n\nStrong team player with proactive attitude\n\nExcellent initiative and problem-solving skills\n\nAble to prioritise and adapt to changing schedules\n\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\n\nConfident communicator across all levels and departments
