What You’ll Be Doing as a Senior Performance Controls Engineer • Prioritize, investigate, and drive the corrective action for performance issues identified during facility operation., • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis using data analysis, first principles, on site investigation, or other means as needed., • Validate software/firmware updates in coordination with vendors, the site service team, and relevant stakeholders to confirm documented changes and no unintended consequences are introduced. Coordinate subsequent rollouts with the appropriate site service teams., • Effectively communicate issues to the appropriate vendor and stakeholders to ensure resolutions are identified and implemented., • Support performance testing as required under individual contracts for each facility., • Contribute to fleet wide efforts for improving the efficacy of monitoring and analysis processes and tools., • Collaborate with internal teams to provide input to improve performance across the business from applications and design to project execution and commissioning to service., • Provide documentation of issues and resolutions for tracking, knowledge sharing, and internal and external communications., • Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with safety protocols, engineering standards, and company policies. Job Title: Senior MEP Engineer / Senior MEP Manager – Data Centres Location: Flexible / Project-based (depending on portfolio) Reports To: Project Director / Technical Director Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP professional to lead the mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) delivery of large-scale data centre developments. This role is critical to ensuring mission-critical infrastructure is designed, coordinated, and delivered to the highest standards of reliability, resilience, and efficiency. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle — from concept and early-stage design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover — working closely with clients, designers, contractors, and operations teams. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership • Lead all MEP aspects of data centre projects, including power distribution, UPS systems, generators, cooling strategies, BMS, fire systems, and resilience architecture., • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices (e.g. TIA-942, EN, IEC, ASHRAE, Uptime Institute principles)., • Manage and coordinate MEP consultants throughout concept, schematic, detailed design, and IFC stages., • Drive design decisions related to topology (N, N+1, 2N), scalability, and future expansion., • Oversee MEP procurement strategies, including early contractor involvement and long-lead equipment., • Monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with specifications., • Lead and coordinate Level 1–5 commissioning, IST, and integrated testing activities., • Ensure systems are fully validated, documented, and handed over in line with client and operator requirements., • Act as a key technical interface between client, funders, contractors, and operators., • Provide input into budgets, programmes, risk registers, and value-engineering exercises (without compromising resilience)., • Support technical due diligence for acquisitions or new site developments. We are looking for an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the design and production integration of ML into an established live trading system and drive its next phase of development. Building on our early ML research and prototypes, you will design, build, deploy, and operate production ML components that integrate directly with a real-time execution engine – improving decision-making and execution quality with measurable financial impact.
