About the Role: Our client works with local authorities and housing developers across the Midlands, delivering essential connection and jointing services on DNO and IDNO networks. As a Trainee Jointer Mate, you’ll play a vital role in supporting projects that keep communities connected and safe. What You’ll Do: • Assist jointers with the preparation and jointing of cables., • Learn how to safely excavate and reinstate joint holes on footpaths, newbuild sites, and existing roads., • Support the installation and maintenance of street lighting and highway electrical equipment., • Drive and operate company vehicles appropriate to the role (training provided)., • Carry out risk assessments and follow safety procedures at all times., • Work as part of a team or independently as your skills develop., • Contribute to ICP connection projects and highway lighting projects across regional areas.
