We are recruiting Childrens Residential Support Workers for a brand-new OFSTED-registered childrens LD (Learning Disabilities) residential service in Stoke-On-Trent. This is a temp to perm opportunity supporting children and young people with learning disabilities within a newly established, specialist residential provision that is committed to delivering safe, nurturing, and high-quality care. This role offers the opportunity to join the service from its foundation, contributing to the development of a stable, therapeutic, and child-centred environment that promotes positive outcomes and meets OFSTEDs Quality Standards. Full training will be provided, including the opportunity to enrol on the Childrens Residential Level 3 qualification. Role Overview As a Childrens Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in delivering care and support that is person-centred, trauma-informed, and aligned with individual care plans. Shift patterns include day shifts, early and late shifts, and sleep-in duties as part of a structured rota. At least 2 years experience managing a residential staff team. Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and multi-agency working. A track record of achieving at least a Good Ofsted rating within the last two years. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. A full driving license and access to a vehicle.
