What You’ll Be Doing No two days are the same, but you’ll be: • Leading, motivating, and developing a brilliant team of Team Leaders and Residential Support Workers, • Creating strong rotas, overseeing inductions, training, and performance (and doing it fairly and consistently), • Making sure care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding records are always up to scratch, • Managing budgets, staffing levels, and the smooth running of the home, • Working closely with senior leaders to achieve (and maintain!) Good or Outstanding OFSTED outcomes, • Most importantly — creating a nurturing, trauma‑informed environment where young people can truly thrive What You’ll Bring You’ll likely already have: • Previous experience as a Registered Manager (or similar role), • Experience supporting children with Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviours, • Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), • Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare — or willingness to complete it within 2 years (we’ll fund it!), • A full UK driving licence, • A calm, resilient, and consistent approach grounded in trauma‑informed care, • Flexibility to support the rota when needed (teamwork matters here) Why Join Madiba?
