Responsibilities: Driving Value and Compliance • Business Partnering & Advisory: Collaborate with the UKI Tax Director to provide expert tax guidance and strategic support to the UKI businesses, acting as a trusted consultant., • Compliance & Governance Oversight (Indirect Tax Focus): Oversee the integrity of tax control frameworks and procedures, managing direct and indirect tax compliance (VAT and Corporation Tax). Coordinate processes with in-house teams, shared services, and external partners., • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure seamless cross-functional delivery., • Project Leadership: Provide holistic tax support for high-value ad-hoc projects, business transactions, and change initiatives., • Global Policy Execution: Ensure adherence to Group transfer pricing methodologies and implement Group tax strategies across UKI entities., • Reporting Excellence: Oversee tax-related processes for group and statutory accounts reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery., • Authority Management: Support the Tax Director in maintaining relationships with UK-Irish Tax Authorities, proactively managing inquiries and queries What You Will Bring: Essential Qualities Experience & Qualification: • Extensive tax experience within a multinational organization, in-house tax/finance function, or reputable professional services firm., • Expert understanding of UK and Irish VAT regulations., • Proven project management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills., • Track record of successfully managing complex projects and achieving business outcomes., • Systems Proficiency: Familiarity with key business systems (e.g., SAP, Google/Microsoft applications). Desirable Assets: • Experience in Transfer Pricing, UK R&D Tax Credits, and/or Irish taxes., • Prior experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry., • Proven stakeholder management, coaching, or leadership experience. Reporting into our Senior Finance Systems Manager, this pivotal role bridges the gap between finance and technology, ensuring our ERP platforms, reporting tools, integrations, and financial controls are seamlessly aligned with business goals-delivering accurate, timely, and actionable financial data. As the subject matter expert, you'll take ownership of financial data flows and system controls, designing, administering, and continuously refining them to uphold integrity and efficiency.
