Your responsibilities will include: • Operating excavators, tractors, and other machinery for vegetation clearance and maintenance., • Performing ditch works and trial hole excavations to support highways infrastructure., • Grass cutting using tractors, flails, bank mowers, ride-on mowers, and handheld equipment., • Tree and hedge maintenance, including hazardous tree removals and ensuring sign visibility., • Supporting Arborist Climbers and Grounds Teams where necessary., • Highways maintenance background (Desirable), • Excavator operation (360 up to 10t), • Tree work experience (Arborist or Groundsman) (Desirable), • Excavators with tree shears & mulchers (Desirable), • Fastrac with sidearm & front deck (Desirable), • CSCS / CPCS / NPORS, • Highways Passport / ROLO, • Lantra Brush Cutter / Strimmer, • NPTC Chainsaw: CS30, CS31a, CS31b, CS38, CS39, • MEWP Chainsaw: CS47, • NPTC Woodchipper, • IPAF – MEWPs, • Competitive hourly rate + night shift bonus., • Salary £30,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE)., • Full PPE and equipment provided., • Ongoing training and industry certifications., • Supportive team culture focused on safety and sustainability.

💼 QA Supervisor 💸 £30,000 to £40,000 📍 Stafford We’re hiring a Quality Assurance Supervisor to take day-to-day ownership of food safety and quality within a fresh produce operation. This is a practical, on-site role focused on keeping standards tight, audits on track, and issues dealt with quickly. You’ll manage a small QA team and work closely with production to make sure quality is built into the process, not checked in at the end. What you’ll be doing: • Leading and supporting the QA team on shift, • Checking raw materials and finished products meet specifications and legal requirements, • Managing traceability, non-conformances, and corrective actions, • Running internal audits and supporting customer and certification audits (BRC, Red Tractor), • Maintaining HACCP and GMP systems, • Keeping QA records accurate and up to date, • Working alongside production to resolve quality issues as they happen, • Reporting into the Operations Manager What we’re looking for: • Experience in QA or food safety within fresh produce or food manufacturing, • Comfortable with audits, compliance, and day-to-day problem solving, • Practical, organised, and able to communicate clearly with production teams To apply: Submit your CV or call Karley at 0161 524 6836
