Job Title: Area Sales and Account Manager Location: Defined Area Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am - 5pm, 35 hours per week Reporting to: Sales Director Direct Reports: None Purpose: The Area Sales Manager plays a vital role in developing sustained growth in the commercial market. The ASM will be responsible for the management, development, and growth of a strong network of loyal customers in their area. The ASM will understand customer needs and work with other company departments to provide the support needed for growth. Main Duties: • Identify and target potential business clients, including builders, contractors, and retailers, through market research and networking., • Generate qualified leads and develop a robust pipeline of opportunities., • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships by understanding client needs, challenges, and objectives., • Conduct compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to potential clients., • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable deals, ensuring all aspects of the deal align with company objectives and policies., • Provide exceptional post-sales support, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues., • Monitor and share market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth., • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement., • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM software., • Prior commercial experience within the façade industry., • Numerate and technically competent., • Confident and engaging presenter., • Self-motivated, proactive, and organised approach focused on taking meaningful action to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances., • Developed sales approach based on building long-term, valuable relationships, with the ability to understand customer needs and proactively present tailored solutions., • Collaborative team member who builds trust, communicates respect, and utilises others' diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals., • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems., • Experience in estimating/tendering projects in the façade industry., • Familiarity with UK-specific regulations, sustainability standards, and market trends., • Strategic mindset with a strong data-driven approach, along with analytical and targeted strategies and problem-solving skills.
