About the job Job Description The General Ledger Accountant performs a variety of routine and non-routine accounting functions with significant focus on General Ledger accounting. This position is also responsible for supporting the Financial Accounting Manager in conducting key activities such as month-end and quarter-end close, Fixed Assets, Account Reconciliations and Audits. Forward thinking administrator always looking to exceed targets and expectations whilst maintaining the collectiveness of the team and culture of DO & CO Maintaining good working relationships with all DO & CO family members as well as our partners, vendors, and other stakeholders Supporting Financial Accounting Manager with daily tasks as required Conducting accurate record keeping for audit trial and reporting purposes as well as feeding into month end closure activities Maintaining and updating the fixed assets database and intercompany recharge management Prepare, review and submit VAT returns in compliance with regional and international requirements.
