Due to our expanding business and continued success, we are now looking to recruit Flat Roofing Operations Manager to join our team working on projects ranging from £500k to £5million.\nOperations Manager Outline Duties:\n * Not limited to\nMaintain company Health and Safety standards across all projects.\nEnsure company procedures and policies are followed at all times.\nOrganise and control directly employed and sub-contract labour to ensure projects have adequate resources.\nReview and maintain project programmes to ensure progress is made and projects are delivered on time.\nLiaise with commercial department to monitor cost budgets, targets, turnover, and valuations.\nManage performance and support site managers, supervisors ,operatives across all allocated projects.\nApproval of and review of project staff holidays, avoid overlaps and ensure cover is in place.\nApproval of staff and team expenses.\nProgramme works to suit contract durations. Liaise with the clients to provide updates and advise on any issues or blockers.\nEnsure Friday packs, monthly reports and day-to-day records are in place.\nAttend projects and client meetings as and when required.\nUndertake regular site visits to monitor works in relation to safety, progress, and turnover.\nEnsure any variations have the necessary paperwork in place. SI, CWO, VO etc.\nEnsure material orders are in line with budgets, drawings, SOW, and that material deliveries meet programme requirements.\nEnsure material orders are in line with budgets, drawings, SOW, and that material deliveries meet programme requirements.\nLiaise with company employed subcontractors and ensure work meets our requirements.\nMaintain a good working relationship with both our operatives and the Main Contractor/Client.\nEnsure plant, craneage etc is in place and planned to meet programme and cost plan.\nProject programmes & lookaheads to be in place to set the site teams targets Ensure the resources are in place to allow plans to be implemented.\nReport progress to your operations director daily/weekly and monthly including reports on progress, MOS, and blockers.\nReview drawings, SOW, contract to ensure we are working to the latest and current information.\nProduce weekly timesheet for HR and Accounts team.\nQA – Ensure ITP are in place and being followed and documents uploaded as required.\nMonitor materials and pre plan deliveries to suit programme requirements\nMonitor site manager and supervisor allocation & assist with upskilling / education.\nEnsure Device Magic forms are reviewed and completed on times.
