This role involves supporting children and adolescents with conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and other additional needs. You will play a vital role in helping young people feel safe, understood, and supported in their daily lives. The Role As a Support Worker, you will: • Provide consistent emotional support and reassurance to children experiencing anxiety, distress, or behavioural challenges., • Support children with autism and ADHD to manage routines, transitions, and sensory sensitivities., • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mealtimes, hygiene, and maintaining a structured routine., • Implement behaviour support plans and positive behaviour strategies in line with care plans., • Safely manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using PMVA techniques where necessary., • Maintain accurate, clear, and timely records of care provided and incidents., • Promote a safe, nurturing, structured, and stimulating environment tailored to individual needs. Requirements • Minimum 6 months UK experience working as a Support Worker., • Experience supporting individuals with Autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviour., • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)., • In date PMVA training (or willingness to do).
