Head of Repairs Salary £85,521 (plus car user allowance) Location Hybrid - Milton Keynes, Rushden or Peterborough Here at Amplius, we’re passionate about creating homes and communities that our customers can be proud to live in. We have a new opportunity for a Head of Repairs to lead our approach to regional property maintenance, manage high-performing teams, oversee contractors, drive efficiency and compliance, and deliver excellent repairs, empty homes, and emergency services. You’ll help shape strategies, budgets, and business plans while embedding a culture of performance and putting our customers at the heart of everything we do. Salary: £85,521 per year (plus car user allowance) Contract: Permanent, full time Your week: 36.25 hours (Monday to Friday 8:45am – 5pm) Location: Hybrid, with a weekly presence in either our Milton Keynes, Rushden or Peterborough office Snapshot of your role • Collaborate with senior management, Heads of Service, and Regional Directors to shape service delivery and organisational priorities., • Oversee the delivery of repairs and maintenance, managing contractors, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement., • Develop and implement effective resourcing strategies, including apprenticeships and professional development, to support business growth., • Ensure budgets, cash flow, and financial controls are accurately managed and aligned with business plans., • Analyse KPIs, customer feedback, and complaints to maintain service quality and take corrective action where needed., • Implement health and safety policies, ensure legal compliance, and manage risk across all operations. What we’re looking for • Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience, with senior-level experience in a maintenance organisation., • Experience managing a large remote team and delivering cost-effective operational services., • Strong understanding of health and safety, risk compliance, and budget management, • Interest in housing and empathy with the aims of Amplius, • Ability to empower and engage colleagues, inspire confidence and trust, and adapt to change., • Personable, flexible, and able to apply operational and strategic thinking to achieve better outcomes.
