SKILLS & ABILITIES: • Experience in a Commercial Insurance Account Handler, • Property, Retail, Combined Packages & D&O insurance experience preferred but not essential would be very advantageous., • Ability to organising self and own work., • Questioning and evaluation of client needs., • Ability to build relationships - internal & external., • Communication skills: telephone, verbal & written., • Selling and cross selling., • Rapport building with clients and underwriters. What you will bring to the role: · Skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. · Strong experience and knowledge with customs processes, customs systems (CDS / Destin8), customs regimes, issue and query resolution. · At least 3 years’ experience preferred in customs declarations and regimes. · Knowledge of Transit systems and the raising of transit documentation · Diligent and accurate attention to detail when processing large amounts of data. · Strong communication and customer relationship skills. · Excellent organisational skills, exceptionally diligent for adhering to rules of compliance and a nose to understand and work out complex problems, with an ability to understand the workings of customs regulations and apply appropriately and correctly.
