Chef – Part-Time (Self-Employed) Location: Flavour Hubb at Wimbledon Racquets and Fitness Club Opening Hours: 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM & 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM Shifts: Morning and Evening available About Us: Flavour Hubb is a small, independent business located inside the Wimbledon Racquets and Fitness Club. We specialise in fresh, flavourful Malay and Thai cuisine and serve both daily meals and special event catering for club members and teams. We're passionate about sharing authentic Southeast Asian food with our community and are looking for someone who shares that same love for bold, fresh flavours. Who We’re Looking For: We’re looking for an energetic, friendly and hard-working individual to join our kitchen team. Ideally, you’ll have some experience with Thai or Malay cuisine—or at least a strong passion to learn. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s keen to develop their skills and contribute to a growing business. Experienced & progressive sous needed for high volume Wimbledon pub serving a 100% freshly made menu. Must be experienced in H & S & food hygiene compliancy, dish costing, stock management, supervising a team etc.

What we are looking for : - Team player, enthusiastic and energetic. - Due to the nature of our work, you must be able to work unsociable hours including early mornings and during the night. - Sundays are our busiest days and these are essential working days. - Minimum 4 days availability from Sunday to Thursday. (Sundays are must) - Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time and count stock safely at different heights. ** What we offer :** - Opportunity to earn up to £14.50 per hour comprising of Starting rate £11.50 - £12.50 per hour & ​ Up to £2.00 per hour additional performance based bonus plus travel allowance in travel stores - Drivers get paid for all Travel time (From and to meet sites) and paid mileage if drives personal car - Up to 28 days paid holiday per year - Flexible Working Hours based on the availability you provide to us - Company Transport provided for non-drivers for travel stores - Guaranteed hour contracts for 16–32 hours dependent upon availability - Work Schedules received three weeks in advance via our dedicated app - Fantastic progression opportunities - Contributory pension RGIS is an Equal Opportunities Employer

Manage the shop's daily activities, ensuring smooth opening and closing procedures, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Lead, supervise, and coordinate the work of team members, fostering a positive and efficient work environment. Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Oversee stock control, order supplies timely, and manage inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking. Monitor portion sizes to maintain consistency in food quality and minimize waste. Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and health and safety standards within the shop. Create staff rotas and manage shift coverage effectively to meet business needs. Assist in budgeting, monitor sales performance, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
