Role Overview We are looking for experienced Facades Investigation Operatives to join our growing team across the UK, to carry outintrusive surveys and reinstatement works to external wall systems Applicants should have at least 5 years experience in a relevant trade, such as general building, cladding, faade installation, or curtain walling They must also be comfortable working at height, using hand and power tools, and removing and reinstating faade components to a high standard. Willing to travel and stay away from home as required Global HSE offers diverse job opportunities across various locations. The role includes a company phone, company vehicle and fuel card. Requirements • Full UK driving licence, • Willing to be DBS checked, • NVQ Level 2 or above in a relevant construction trade (e.g.cladding, curtain walling, etc.), • IPAF, • Asbestos Awareness, • Face Fit Testing, • First Aid at Work, • SSSTS (desirable), • PASMA (desirable), • Comfortable working at height, • Able to use mobile software to record and document works What We Offer • Competitive salary and annual leave, • Company pension scheme, • Free Health & Wellbeing Programme, • Employee rewards & company events, • Sector training support through our own Global Academy, • Structured career development, • Opportunities to shape the future of safe, compliant building delivery Key Responsibilities • Carry out intrusive opening-up works to external wall systems in accordance with engineer instructions and relevant methodology, • Carefully remove and reinstate faade components, including cladding, insulation, sheathing boards, cavity barriers and fire stopping, • Support Facades Technical Consultants during inspections and investigations, • Expose and accurately record construction details whilst minimising damage to surrounding areas, • Photograph, label, and document findings using mobile reporting systems, • Support material sampling where required, • Reinstate openings using approved methods and materials to a safe, compliant and weatherproof standard, • Work safely at height using authorised access equipment, • Maintain high standards of workmanship and site housekeeping, • Complete daily records, inspection documentation and timesheets, • Communicate effectively with Facades Technical Consultants, clients, site management and colleagues Our Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion Global is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
