Infrastructure Engineer | Stafford (Hybrid | 40-50k Ever felt like you're capable of more than “just keeping the lights on”? Maybe you're already doing some decent project work - migrations, rebuilds, cloud stuff - and you're itching for more of that. Or maybe you’ve been the go-to person on the service desk for years… solving the hardest tickets… training others… quietly carrying the infrastructure on your back… …but the interesting projects always seem to land with someone else. Either way - if you want a role where your skills actually matter, keep reading. The role This is a chance to join a growing engineering team where the work is a mix of: • Project delivery (mostly Azure-focused), • Improving and modernising client environments, • Jumping onto tougher escalations when things get spicy, • Working with a Technical Lead who doesn’t micromanage or act like they invented cloud computing If you're already doing projects, great. You’ll do more of them here. If you're mostly 3rd line & want to step into projects, also great. You'll get hands-on chances without needing to fight for them. The work is varied, real, and not full of corporate theatre. What you’ll be working with • Azure (VMs, networking, identity/Entra, storage, monitoring), • Windows Server environments, AD/M365, hybrid integrations, • VMware or Hyper-V, • Terraform/Bicep / Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions, • Containers / AKS, • AWS if needed (not central, just handy) The kind of person this suits • You’ve been a 3rd line / Infrastructure Engineer in an MSP or multi-client setup, • You can work things out without needing to escalate every 10 minutes, • You like solving problems more than following scripts, • You care about doing things well - not just closing tickets This is a role for someone who wants to grow, improve, and be trusted - not someone who wants to hide behind process and ticket notes. What’s in it for you • £40,000 – £50,000 + bonus, • Hybrid working (around 3 days onsite each week, flexible once settled), • Proper training + certification support (not just “yeah we’ll see”), • A down-to-earth, collaborative team (no egos, no grey-suit energy), • Real progression without having to pretend to be a manager If you’re reading this thinking “yeah, that’s me” Good. You don’t need a perfect CV. You don’t need every certification under the sun. You don’t need to have “architect” in your title. You just need: • Solid infrastructure experience, • Some Azure hands-on, • The mindset to grow Click apply now! Or email me at .
