The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of general repairs, maintenance and remedial works across residential and commercial properties. You will help ensure properties are safe, well maintained and fully functional for occupants, tenants and site users. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a broad range of practical maintenance skills who takes pride in completing work to a high standard. Key Responsibilities • Carry out general property repairs and maintenance works., • Undertake basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and minor electrical works., • Complete remedial and reactive maintenance tasks., • Assist with installations, furniture assembly and small refurbishment projects., • Carry out routine maintenance and basic safety checks., • Identify and report faults, defects and issues requiring specialist attention., • Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe and organised condition., • Complete records of work undertaken and report completed jobs., • Work closely with tenants, site managers and other trades and contractors., • Follow all relevant health and safety procedures and site requirements., • Ensure work is completed efficiently, professionally and to a good standard. Essential Experience & Qualifications • Proven experience working in a handyman, maintenance or general property maintenance role., • Good practical knowledge of basic building trades, including plumbing, carpentry and electrical work., • Practical and confident approach to diagnosing and resolving general maintenance issues., • Good understanding of UK health and safety requirements., • Valid CSCS card, or willingness to obtain one., • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload., • Full UK driving licence would be advantageous.     CHEF – JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Chef Location: Pub / Hospitality Venue Hours: Full-Time / Part-Time Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering consistently high-quality food while maintaining excellent standards of food safety, cleanliness and kitchen organisation. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who takes pride in their food, works well in a busy pub environment and understands the importance of consistency, speed and presentation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare, cook and present food consistently to the required standard., • Ensure all dishes are produced according to agreed recipes, specifications and portion controls., • Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality., • Complete food preparation ahead of service and ensure the kitchen is fully prepared for each trading session., • Work efficiently during busy services while maintaining quality and standards., • Ensure all food is stored, labelled, dated and rotated correctly., • Follow FIFO stock rotation procedures., • Complete and maintain all required food safety, temperature and HACCP records., • Maintain excellent standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene., • Ensure equipment, preparation areas, fridges, freezers and storage areas are kept clean and organised., • Assist with deliveries, stock control and stock rotation., • Minimise food waste and help maintain appropriate food margins., • Report maintenance, equipment or food safety issues immediately., • Follow allergen procedures and ensure allergen information is understood and correctly communicated., • Comply with all company policies, health & safety requirements and food hygiene legislation., • Work closely with the General Manager and wider venue team., • Support other kitchen team members when required. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR The ideal candidate will have: • Previous experience working as a Chef within a pub, restaurant or similar hospitality environment., • Strong food preparation and cooking skills., • Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety., • Knowledge of allergens and cross-contamination controls., • Ability to work calmly and efficiently during busy services., • Good organisation and time-management skills., • A positive and professional attitude., • Reliability and excellent attendance., • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team., • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays. DESIRABLE • Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate or above., • Previous experience within a high-volume pub kitchen., • Experience with stock management and food ordering., • Understanding of food GP, portion control and waste management.
