Job Title: Commissioning Engineer – Critical Power Generation Location: England, UK Employment Type: Full-Time A market-leading critical power solutions provider is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join their team. The company offers full turn-key solutions including consultancy, design, installation, and IIoT-enabled real-time monitoring for power generation systems. Role Overview: You will be responsible for end-to-end commissioning of power generation equipment, including technical support, documentation, and system validation. You will work closely with installation teams, conduct on-site assessments, and ensure all installations meet high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities: • Commission critical power generation systems across various projects, • Provide technical support to site and installation teams, • Review and approve risk assessments and method statements, • Visit sites to assess and validate generator installations, • Deliver training and handovers to clients as needed, • Create and maintain detailed commissioning documentation, • Work with ComAp controllers and associated systems Requirements: • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification (or similar), • 5–10 years of commissioning experience in the power generation sector, • Strong working knowledge of ComAp controllers, including latest models, • Good understanding of switchgear, complex electrical systems, and control panels, • Ability to travel to customer sites when required This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking business with strong growth and innovation in IIoT technology.
