Product Quality Engineer\n\n Bradford | £18.34 - £19.43 per hour (DOE) | Days | Permanent\n\nAre you an experienced Quality Engineer or Senior Inspector with strong CMM programming experience?\n\nThis is a hands-on role within a well-established precision engineering business supplying into aerospace, motorsport, oil & gas and marine sectors.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou'll take a lead role within the quality function, ensuring the conformity of highly engineered components throughout the manufacturing process. This is a hands-on position, combining inspection, team leadership, and CMM programming.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and coordinate a small team of quality inspectors\nManage batch, first-off and in-process inspection activities\nProgram and operate CMM/GMM equipment (training available on specific systems)\nEvaluate inspection results and escalate non-conformances\nCarry out incoming, in-process and final inspection of precision components\nUse a wide range of inspection tools (micrometers, air gauges, height gauges, etc.)\nSupport defect identification (MPI, ultrasonic testing, chemical etching, surface checks)\nCommunicate quality issues effectively with production teams\nMaintain inspection records, documentation and traceability\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives\n\nRequirements\n\nBackground in precision engineering / machining environment\nProven CMM programming experience\nStrong understanding of engineering drawings & GD&T\nExperience working to tight tolerances (micron level)\nKnowledge of quality processes (FAIR, PPAP, APQP, SPC, NCR)\nAbility to identify machining defects and root causes\nComfortable leading or supporting a small team\nGood IT skills and attention to detail\n\nPackage\n\n£18.34 - £19.43 per hour (DOE)\n Day shift:\n\nMon-Thurs: 07:00 - 16:00\nFri: 07:00 - 12:00\n\n⏱ Overtime paid at 1.5x after 39 hours\n 25 days holiday + bank holidays\n Attendance bonus\n Free on-site parking\n Good transport links\n\nWhy Apply?\n\nA great opportunity to join a stable, high-precision engineering business where you can take ownership of quality processes and develop further within a supportive environment.\n\nOur clients and their customers come from diverse backgrounds and so do we.
