Supply Desk is working with a welcoming school in Iver looking for a passionate History Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September. This is your opportunity to step into the classroom and spark curiosity, debate, and critical thinking in the historians of tomorrow. The Role This role goes beyond textbooks — it’s about storytelling, enquiry, and helping students connect the past with the present. You’ll be: Guiding students through key historical periods across KS3 to KS5 Bringing topics to life through discussion, debate, and interpretation Encouraging students to question sources, analyse evidence, and form their own perspectives Creating engaging lessons that challenge, inspire, and stretch all learners Supporting progress through thoughtful feedback, marking, and assessment Requirements You don’t just teach History — you make it memorable. You’ll likely: Hold QTS, PGCE, ECT status, or equivalent (unqualified teachers also welcome) Have experience teaching History across secondary levels Be confident in delivering engaging, thought-provoking lessons Have a track record (or strong potential) of supporting student progress Bring flexibility, creativity, and a passion for your subject Why This Role?
