Full-Time SEN Learning Support Assistant Are you passionate about making a difference in young people s lives and looking for your next career move? At GSL Education , we re partnered with a warm, values-driven secondary school in Dibden Purlieu, and we re seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their dedicated team supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Learning Difficulties in their Resource Base. The Role As a full-time LSA based within the Resource Base, you will: Provide high-quality support to students with SEN and learning difficulties, helping them access the curriculum and engage with learning activities. Work alongside the Resource Base Lead and class teachers to adapt resources, deliver differentiated learning tasks and monitor student progress. Support students through social, emotional and academic transitions, helping them build confidence and independence. Contribute to the inclusive culture of the school; liaise with teaching staff, therapists and other support departments as needed. Be a visible, reliable presence within the Resource Base and across the school site, promoting positive behaviour and high expectations. Who We re Looking For You may come from a school-based role already (such as an existing LSA or TA), or from a support background that has transferable skills. Ideal candidates will have: Experience working with children or young people with SEN, learning difficulties, or additional needs (this could be in school, a support/work-care setting, or as a support worker/care worker). A calm, patient, flexible approach and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and families. Good communication and organisational skills, along with the willingness to deliver discreet, tailored support to meet students needs.
