We need a hands-on kitchen prep lead who can own morning prep and run safe, consistent lunch service in a compact café kitchen. You will plan and complete prep, prepare and finish menu items, manage stock rotation, labels, temperature checks, cleaning and allergens, and train colleagues who help in the kitchen. You will work closely with the café lead during busy lunches and birthday bookings. We are looking for experience running prep and service in a café, brunch kitchen, deli or similar small food operation. You should have sound food-safety and allergen knowledge, be able to work independently and be available for some weekends. The opening role is around 35–40 hours a week, mostly morning and daytime shifts, including weekends. Paid pre-opening setup is expected in early November. Base pay is £16–£17 per hour depending on relevant experience. Planned customer hours are Monday–Friday 08:00–18:00, Saturday 08:30–18:00 and Sunday 08:30–16:00; individual shifts will be shorter.
