Science Specialist Teacher Required In Nottingham – September 2020 A secondary school located south of the city of Nottingham are in requirement of a Science specialist qualified teacher (with QTS) for a role starting after the summer break in September. The timetable is combined science at Key Stages 3 and 4 and includes some Key Stage 5 lessons. The school are not too concerned on the specialism of the teacher, so teachers of all Science specialisms are encouraged to apply. The role requires an exciting teacher who is able to engage students and make a difference in a school that has some challenging groups. A strong classroom presence is therefore essential for the successful teacher. It currently holds places for KS3 pupils excluded from Bury schools. They have a few opportunities coming up after the Easter half term break. You would be required to: Undertake and deliver a variety of high quality structured educational/activities package with young children who have SEBD, as specified in their individual educational plans and service proposals. Promote and ensure the safety and well-being of children in accordance with good practice and the policies and procedures of the organisation. Manage delegated tasks within the organisation, as defined by senior staff.
