They are now seeking an HR Manager to strengthen people operations, ensure compliance and payroll accuracy, enhance workforce engagement, and drive innovation through HR technology. Job Specification - HR Manager Key Responsibilities Payroll & HR Administration • Lead monthly payroll processing for approximately 140 staff in partnership with Finance., • Ensure accuracy across starters, leavers, pensions, overtime, deductions, and related data., • Manage and mentor the HR Administrator, maintaining high standards across all HR administration., • Oversee BrightHR usage across all divisions, including annual leave, overtime, sickness, lateness and related records. Job Specification - HR Manager Employee Relations & Compliance • Manage disciplinary, grievance, investigation, and performance-related processes., • Advise line managers on policies and the application of UK employment law., • Ensure compliance with contracts, right-to-work requirements, GDPR, and wider legal obligations. Job Specification - HR Manager Recruitment & Onboarding • Lead recruitment activities, including campaigns, selection, and interviewing., • Oversee onboarding, induction, and probation reviews to ensure a smooth employee experience., • Work with managers to build effective talent pipelines. Job Specification - HR Manager Performance & Development • Support appraisals, development plans, and training programmes., • Monitor training compliance via platforms such as TalentLMS., • Develop dashboards and reporting for HR KPIs such as absence, turnover, performance, and training. Job Specification - HR Manager Engagement & Culture • Deliver engagement, wellbeing, and retention initiatives., • Embed organisational values focusing on urgency, accountability, and empowerment., • Lead employee feedback processes and follow-up actions. Job Specification - HR Manager Technology & Process Innovation • Champion digital HR solutions to improve efficiency and streamline processes., • Drive adoption of systems that enhance reporting accuracy and data-driven decision-making., • Identify opportunities for integration between HR technology and wider operational platforms. Job Specification - HR Manager Strategic HR Support • Produce HR analysis, insights, and reporting for the HR Director and senior leadership team., • Deliver HR projects aligned with organisational growth and future scalability. Job Specification - HR Manager Essential Qualifications & Experience • Strong generalist HR background, ideally at Manager or Senior Advisor level., • Proven payroll management experience., • Comprehensive understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice., • Experience managing a direct report., • Ability to work effectively in a high-growth, fast-paced environment., • Confident communicator with strong organisational skills. Job Specification - HR Manager Desirable • CIPD Level 5 or working towards it., • Experience in facilities management, construction, or service-led sectors., • Experience implementing HR technology or process automation., • Familiarity with HR dashboards, reporting tools, or integrated systems.
