The job you’ll do: • Produce, format, and maintain high-quality engineering documentation using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint), • Control, distribute, track, and archive project documentation, ensuring accuracy, control, and timely circulation., • Coordinate document workflows with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients., • Ensure all documentation complies with company standards, QA procedures, and regulatory requirements., • Maintain document registers, numbering systems, and labelling conventions for clear identification and traceability., • Scan, copy, file, and distribute documents to internal teams and external stakeholders., • Assist with the preparation and submission of reports, schedules, and project close-out documentation., • Follow engineers’ instructions to create, update, and revise drawings using AutoCAD, • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism., • Must be IT literate and proficient with Microsoft Office software, • Willingness to travel (quarterly) and stay overnight if needed, • Proven experience in a similar role (Document Controller/Administration/Technical Support), • Experience using AutoCAD or similar to update engineering drawings (desirable), • Experience using document management systems such as Meridian and/or Aconex or similar (desirable)., • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and a structured approach to document control., • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements., • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to liaise across teams., • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team., • Full UK driving licence required.
