Job Description About This Opportunity Carepack Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to lead our compounding pharmacy operations and ensure the highest standards of pharmaceutical care. The ideal candidate will have solid USP 795 and 800 compounding experience, stay current with new medication developments, and possess the expertise to formulate most ordered compounds while having an eye for innovative formulations to meet evolving market demands Location: Orange City, Florida Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay: $140,000 to $145,000 Key Responsibilities • Lead daily pharmacy operations including compounding, dispensing, and prescription processing, • Supervise pharmacy technicians and coordinate efficient order fulfillment and shipping, • Review physician orders for drug appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and administration routes, • Monitor drug therapies and recommend treatment modifications as needed, • Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and maintain required documentation, • Perform quality control checks and manage pharmacy inventory, • Compound, package, and label medications per specifications, • Design and deliver training programs on pharmacy policies and procedures, • Provide clinical support and guidance to healthcare teams, • Lead Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives, • Document communications with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff, • Implement pharmacy programs to improve service quality and patient outcomes, • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, • Current, unrestricted Florida pharmacist license (multiple state licenses bonus), • Previous compounding pharmacy experience with solid USP 795 & 800 compounding knowledge., • 2-5 years managing or supervising pharmacy technicians, • Competitive salary, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • 401(k) retirement plan, • Paid time off, • 7 paid holidays annually
