Scope of the Role The Senior Digital Advertising Specialist serves as BCP’s subject matter expert and strategic lead for paid media across DTC and marketplace channels. This role is responsible for developing, guiding, and optimizing advertising strategy across Amazon, Walmart, Google, Microsoft, and other performance platforms to drive profitable revenue growth. This individual partners closely with executive leadership to recommend data-driven advertising strategies that align with broader company revenue, profitability, and brand objectives. While collaborating with external agency partners on execution, this role retains ownership of strategic direction, performance accountability, and continuous growth initiatives across paid channels. Reporting Structure The Senior Digital Advertising Specialist is a member of the Channel Marketing Team and reports to the Vice President of Marketing & Brand. This position also partners with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders within the organization. Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities • Develop and guide paid media strategies across DTC and marketplace platforms to support revenue and profitability goals., • Serve as the primary internal lead working with Quartile and other external partners, evaluating and refining agency-recommended strategies while holding partners accountable to performance targets., • Optimize toward ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, blended CAC, and contribution margin targets., • Recommend channel investment allocations, budget pacing, and growth forecasts., • Translate performance data into strategic insights and business recommendations for leadership., • Operate as a senior-level individual contributor with strategic ownership of paid media performance in partnership with executive stakeholders., • Lead structured testing roadmaps to continuously improve efficiency and scale., • Own advertising strategy across Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, and other retail media platforms., • Align advertising investment with inventory levels, product launches, and promotional initiatives., • Partner with Creative and Brand teams to inform messaging, visual testing, and conversion optimization strategy across paid channels., • Monitor competitive landscape, category trends, and auction dynamics to inform bidding and positioning strategy., • Leverage marketplace analytics tools (e.g., Helium 10) to inform keyword and competitive strategy., • Partner with internal teams to improve retail readiness, product detail page performance, and conversion drivers., • Oversee campaign execution across: Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube), Microsoft Ads., • Test bidding models, campaign structures, audience segmentation, and creative strategies to improve performance., • Ensure accurate tracking, attribution alignment, and feed integrity while identifying automation and platform enhancements to drive scale., • Develop weekly and monthly performance reporting, analyze blended DTC and marketplace performance, and provide forward-looking projections and insights to leadership., • Partner with Finance to ensure budget pacing and profitability alignment., • Evaluate emerging retail media networks and paid acquisition channels, lead pilot initiatives, and stay current on industry best practices and evolving attribution models., • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Required Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience., • 5–7+ years of progressive experience in paid media within an e-commerce environment., • Strong expertise in Amazon Ads required; Walmart Connect and additional retail media experience preferred., • Prior experience working with Quartile strongly preferred., • Experience with Helium 10, Google Analytics (GA4), and marketplace analytics tools., • Proven experience managing and scaling high-volume advertising budgets while maintaining profitability targets., • Experience working in a multi-channel retail environment (DTC + marketplaces + big box retailers) strongly preferred., • Demonstrated ability to develop strategy and present insights to senior leadership., • Strong understanding of incrementality testing, attribution modeling, and cross-channel performance measurement., • Experience leveraging AI-driven optimization tools, automation frameworks, or advanced bidding technologies is a plus., • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with advanced Excel skills., • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations., • Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills., • Self-starter with a strategic mindset and strong attention to detail. The base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000-$100,000 USD annually. You will also be eligible to participate in BCP’s benefits and bonus programs. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills and experience.
