Job Description We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong change management, process and finance expertise to help integrate and harmonize two distinct business unit finance functions into a single, unified operating model. This role blends business analysis, process optimization, and change management to align people, processes, and technology across the finance organization. Key Responsibilities • Drive work within project teams and with stakeholders from both business units to ensure requirements for integration are understood, documented, and delivered., • Partner with finance leadership to consolidate and optimize finance processes (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, compliance), ensuring consistency, efficiency, and regulatory compliance in the combined organization., • Analyze differences in current-state processes, design a harmonized future-state operating model, and support organizational design activities to clarify roles, responsibilities, and reporting structures in the new finance function., • Support change management activities, including communication planning, stakeholder engagement, and training, to help teams adopt new processes, tools, and ways of working., • Use Business Analyst tools & techniques to capture information needs and functional requirements that enable seamless integration., • Proactively communicate and collaborate across both business units, technology teams, and external partners to foster alignment and buy-in., • Research, analyze, recommend, and help deploy ERP finance solutions that enable standardization and scalability across the unified function., • Apply a structured, data-driven approach to measure integration progress, track benefits, and resolve challenges., • Simplify complex issues and present analyses that emphasize business value, harmonization, and long-term sustainability., • Contribute to firm-wide initiatives such as business development, people development, recruiting, marketing, and culture.Qualifications, • 5+ years of relevant business analysis experience, ideally in integration or transformation projects involving multiple business units., • Experience with ERP finance systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite), including modules such as GL, AP, AR, financial reporting, and compliance., • Demonstrated experience supporting change management and organizational design in transformation programs., • Strong consulting background with leadership in facilitation, planning, negotiation, and analysis., • Bachelor’s degree required; CBAP certification (or similar) a strong plus., • Change management certifications (e.g. PROSCI) a strong plus, • Preference for candidates with experience in utilities or manufacturing.
