To learn more about the Center, please go to The Job: Reporting to the Associate Director for National Legal Strategies, Europe, the Senior Legal Adviser is responsible for developing and implementing legal and policy strategies to advance and protect reproductive rights in Europe, and works closely with other Europe program staff to ensure alignment with the regional Work Plan and the Center’s Strategic Plan. This position will be based remotely in Brussels or Berlin, or in the Center’s office in Geneva. This includes primary intensive case management/counseling for residents identified as having the most significant psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues. This is currently a hybrid position. RESPONSIBILITIES The Social Worker will manage clinical cases for a caseload of residents receiving HRA HASA Supportive Housing Services in addition to seniors, low income working or disabled residents identified as having significant mental health and/or substance abuse issues. The Social Worker will assist clients in maintaining medical, emotional and housing stability utilizing counseling interventions and appropriate referrals, and maintain a consistent schedule of face to face client contacts. This includes orientation, interventions & counseling to address conflict resolutions when roommate conflicts arise. The Social Worker will assist in the coordination of estate planning, including required legal documents such as power of attorney and living will; advocate for clients in obtaining and maintaining all eligible entitlements and services. About this role The Platform Engagement Coordinator will lead internal efforts of the Digital Security Helpline to engage with Trust and Safety teams at tech platforms and providers of third party infrastructure, including: email, hosting, data storage, and social media, and others that directly affect the digital security of users and communities at risk. This includes developing and maintaining communication with the relevant tech platforms and firms, as well as supporting the global incident response efforts of the Helpline, with emphasis on incidents that take place on said third party services. The person selected for this role will report to the Helpline Director and will work closely with the Helplines Incident Response Lead, Administrative and Communications Coordinator, and in support of Security Incident Handlers. They will also coordinate closely with Access Nows Tech Legal Counsel and Policy Business and Human Rights team. This role will require a degree of flexibility to work across time zones, but the successful candidate will preferably be based in a timezone that aligns with the Americas or European/African timezones.
