Performance is measured by key KPIs such as individual sales volume, average transaction value, and customer conversion rates. Team Engagement & Store Support · Assist in setting up and breakdown of classes including organizing mise en place, prepping ingredients, and cleaning workstations · Clean and sanitize dishes and equipment promptly to ensure smooth kitchen operations. · Assist with restocking, organizing, and maintaining kitchen supplies and tools to support overall store readiness Operations & Compliance · Ensure compliance with food safety standards, local health codes, and sanitation regulations. · Properly handle all tools, ingredients, and kitchen equipment to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. · Maintain accurate inventory levels, minimize shrink, and control supply and culinary expenses. · May handle liquor, wine, and beer in compliance with state and location alcohol regulations, company policies, including enforcing age restrictions. · Ensure store safety and cleanliness, addressing any maintenance needs promptly. · Adhere to applicable wage and hour laws. Saunter is a bathhouse and social lounge where food and beverage is not the headline—it is what makes the whole experience work. Guests will move from sauna and pool to coffee, lunch, dinner, late-night, and back again, often barefoot, in robes, and on their own schedule. Your job is to create an F&B program that feels native to all of it: nourishing without being earnest, generous without being heavy, operationally sharp without feeling engineered. This is a senior pre-opening consulting engagement. You will turn an established vision into a working program: menu architecture, beverage direction, service models, operating standards, systems, vendors, and the decisions that let a first location open well and future locations repeat it. The strategic center of the program is dinner after 5pm, when the room becomes most social. Daytime still has to earn its place: a strong coffee program, easy lunch and co-work service, and food guests can genuinely come back for twice a week. Late night has its own test—fast, hand-held, high-throughput food that can hold up at 200+ guests without compromising the feel. What You’ll Do • Refine Saunter’s F&B point of view into a coherent, commercially viable program built around mindful indulgence: bright, herbal, citrus-forward flavors alongside umami, fermented, savory depth., • Develop the food and beverage menus across breakfast, lunch/co-work, dinner/happy hour, and late-night—combining durable signatures with a practical specials cadence., • Build a beverage program led by coffee, matcha, functional drinks, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and a full non-alcoholic bar. You know how to make a menu feel alive without making it hard to execute. You are equally comfortable in the creative and operational details. You can talk through a dish, a drink, a labor model, a COGS target, a service flow, and the equipment decision that makes each one possible. You know how to develop an emerging kitchen leader without taking over their kitchen, and where a brand flourish is worth its operating cost—and where it is not. Responsibilities: • Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers, • Receive and unpack pallets of product from vendors, ensure physical inventory count matches purchase order/invoice, and resolve discrepancies, • Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, • Clean and organize sales floor and overall facility, • Manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practice, • Contact customer for substituted or out-of-stock items, • Handle, scan and move product in a safe and well-organized manner, • Stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach and walk during shifts, • Use carts, pallet jacks, dollies and other equipment to move product, • Handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol, • Work in freezer locations periodically throughout shifts, • Capability to walk several flights of steps periodically throughout the day, • Prepare quality beverages and food menu items for all customers by observing all recipes and presentation standards, • Ensure accuracy of all food and beverage packaged for delivery, • Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products, • Receive and put away order/invoice, and resolve discrepancies when they do not match expiration requirements, • Maintain Kitchen Facility organization and standards to ensure resources can be accessed while managing waste and spoilage through mindful pouring and food preparation, • Prepare, package and stage/handoff orders Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, • Experience working in a restaurant or retail environment (preferred, not required), • The ability to work a fluid schedule and be available during peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts), • General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications (e.g. Google G-Suite), • Stand and walk for the duration of an assigned shift, • Lift up to 49 pounds, • Available to work flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays What We Offer: • Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance (for full-time employees), • 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, • 25% employee discount & FAM Membership, • Vacation and Sick Time for eligible employees, • EAP through AllOne Health (formerly Carebridge) At Gopuff, we know that life can be unpredictable.
