Job Description Our client, a respected wholesale distributor in the souvenir and gift sector, is seeking an experienced sales leader to take charge of its Florida territory. With a well-established footprint across the United States and Canada, the business has developed strong partnerships with major retail and travel-based customers throughout the region. As they move into an ambitious new phase of growth, they are looking for a commercially minded leader to help expand their presence across Florida. This opportunity is ideal for someone who approaches territory management with an ownership mindset. The successful candidate will oversee an established and active region, manage a statewide team of sales representatives and merchandisers, and play a central role in driving further growth. Our client is looking for someone who can combine strategic thinking with a willingness to stay close to the day-to-day realities of the field. The position is based in Florida, with either Orlando or Miami preferred. Regardless of home base, frequent travel across the state is an essential part of the role. Key Responsibilities • Identify, pursue, and secure new independent retail accounts to strengthen and grow the territory, • Partner with senior leadership on forecasting, territory strategy, business planning, and broader commercial initiatives, • Maintain and grow relationships with key national retail customers, including big-box chains, pharmacy groups, and travel retail partners, • Travel extensively across Florida as part of the role, with approximately one annual trip to the Canadian head office, • Oversee order management through the internal system, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, • Review SKU and product performance across the territory and make recommendations to improve assortment and sell-through, • Lead, mentor, and support a team of sales representatives and merchandisers across Florida, while driving accountability against performance expectations, • Comfortable working in a hands-on, field-led role and willing to spend time in stores alongside the team when necessary, • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively throughout Florida, • Strong experience in field sales leadership within wholesale distribution, FMCG, consumer goods, or a similar product-driven environment, • Demonstrated success leading field-based sales teams of ten or more employees, • Entrepreneurial in approach, with the ability to run a territory with a true business mindset rather than simply managing people, • Proven experience managing large national retail relationships, including big-box, pharmacy, convenience, or travel retail accounts Preferred Qualifications, • Existing knowledge of the Florida retail market, along with established relationships with independent retailers in the region, • Background working within a franchise structure or owner-operated business environment, • Experience in the souvenir, gift, novelty, or impulse product categories, • Previous success in building new accounts from the ground up Base Salary: $90,000 to $110,000 USD per annum, depending on experience, with flexibility for outstanding candidates Variable Compensation: • Mileage reimbursement, • Performance-based bonus, • Commission earned on direct sales, • Additional high-growth bonus linked to year-over-year performance Equal Employment Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy Equal Employment Opportunity Statement: Both Keller Executive Search and our clients are Equal Opportunity Employers.
