Test both clean devices and machines with existing policies and software. macOS behavior Investigate permissions, privacy controls, profiles, background items, and system extensions where relevant. Distinguish product defects from packaging, signing, MDM configuration, and operating-system behavior. Automation and tooling Automate repeatable checks, device setup, evidence collection, and regression testing while preserving hands-on coverage for failures automation cannot reliably detect. Reproduction and triage Turn strange incompatibilities into precise bug reports with steps, configuration details, logs, impact, and a clear account of what changed.
