Art Handler/Driver, Long Island City UOVO seeks a Art Handler/Driver to join its dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the art world, storage/collection management knowledge, and will be comfortable moving a wide range of art objects. The Art Handler/Driver will report to the Technical Services Supervisor. Job DescriptionDescriptionCadogan Tate New York Limited has an exciting position available for a Lead Art Handler / Installer The essential duty of this role is to take a lead role on all aspects of the proper handling, wrapping, de-installation and installation for the collection, delivery and installation of artworks, antiques, design furniture & personal effects under the management and direction of a supervisor. Assisting in coordination and taking charge of any installations whilst managing crews on site. We are looking for skilled Installers (Foreman experience preferred) with box truck driving experience, art installation experience is required. This a full-time position, working Monday through Friday and some weekends. The company provides competitive hourly pay and excellent benefits. The salary depends on applicant's driving and moving experience. Job DescriptionSalary: $25 to $35 per hour PRIMARY FUNCTION This position is responsible for ensuring the safe and timely preparation of works of art for display, exhibition and transport.
