Job Description As a Mechanical Assembler on the Tank Truck line, you will be responsible for the assembly and integration of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components that ensure the functionality, safety, and reliability of our vehicles. Your work directly contributes to the performance of tank trucks serving municipal, construction, and industrial customers. Key Responsibilities: • Assemble mechanical systems, including frames, tanks, pumps, valves, and hydraulic components, according to engineered drawings and instructions., • Install electrical wiring, relays, switches, and harnesses for 12V systems used in our custom tank trucks., • Operate hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and pneumatic equipment with precision and safety., • Read and interpret schematics, assembly manuals, and technical instructions., • Utilize material handling equipment such as overhead cranes to position and install heavy components., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following all company safety protocols., • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot build issues or suggest process improvements. This includes mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Your work will directly contribute to the quality and reliability of specialized chassis used by airports and industrial operators worldwide. Key Responsibilities: • Assemble mechanical systems, including frames, engines, fuel tanks, pumps, and suspension components, according to engineered drawings and instructions., • Install electrical wiring, relays, switches, and harnesses for 12V systems used in our custom chassis., • Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and pneumatic equipment with accuracy and safety., • Interpret and work from schematics, assembly books, and verbal instructions., • Operate overhead cranes and other material handling equipment to move and position chassis components., • Perform final inspections to confirm all systems are correctly installed, aligned, and meet build standards., • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all company safety protocols., • Communicate with team members and supervisors to solve build issues or suggest improvements. POSITION SUMMARY: The Materials Assembler will work under the supervision of technical personnel on a variety of projects ranging from new products, materials preparation, and product manufacture for health care education simulators. The person filling this position will have a familiarity with working in a production environment and will be required to follow detailed instructions. SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: Receives supervision from the Team Lead and the Department Manager. Does not exercise supervision over any other position. 4 positions located in Building 3 - Materials Production Department.
