Job Description Mechanical Assembler Job Description Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in assembling process water chillers. You will have the opportunity to work on different projects within our three departments, each specializing in various chiller systems. Your role will involve the assembly of components such as motors, compressors, fans, pumps, and valves. Responsibilities • Fit and braze copper tubing, • Wire basic electrical components, • Assemble brass fittings, • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools, • Experience in mechanical assembly and machine building, • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, • Understanding of electrical wiring and troubleshooting, • Good mechanical skills, • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and listening skills, • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, • Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively with team members, • Knowledge of refrigeration systems is a plus We offer comprehensive health insurance plans, including vision and dental coverage, through Blue Cross Blue Shield, with three options to choose from. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elmhurst, Illinois. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
