Job Description Maintenance Manager - Direct Hire - Otay Mesa Location - $117,000k-$145,000k Salary Job Description Our Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team plays a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence. As a Maintenance Manager, you will lead a team of facilities associates and may also supervise Area Maintenance Managers. Your primary goal will be to maintain a safe working environment and contribute to the sustainability of our business by minimizing system downtime and fostering innovation. Responsibilities • Support the Operations team in a safe, customer-focused manner., • Develop and design innovative solutions to complex problems., • Manage outside contractors and be on call for emergencies., • Handle multiple projects and daily activities, meeting deadlines and developing plans to achieve departmental goals., • Collaborate with the local Safety department to implement and audit safety programs., • Ensure compliance with all safety programs and procedures., • Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs., • Facilitate technical and safety training and support the professional development of Maintenance technicians., • Mentor Maintenance technicians, providing direction to help them achieve their goals., • Develop business plans for the Maintenance department and guide their implementation., • Collaborate with the Finance team to develop, set, and track budgets., • Participate in efficiency improvement activities for the site and network., • Develop capital spending plans and perform cost analysis., • Promote excellent housekeeping practices., • Participate in weekly network Maintenance calls and conferences., • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of relevant experience., • Experience working with Microsoft Office products and applications., • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil)., • 5+ years’ experience in distribution or manufacturing., • Experience with automated conveyor systems, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, controls, electronics, and PC literacy., • Knowledge of N.E.C., • Ability to communicate effectively with Safety, Operations, Engineering, Sr. Management, peers, contractors, and vendors.
