Job Description HEALTH TECH/OFFICE AIDE We seek a highly organized and responsible Office Assistant to join Villa Bella Expeditionary. In this position, you will perform clerical tasks, answer phones, sort mail, assist in giving students medication under the supervision of a licensed school nurse, and help supervise lunch and recess. This position will also perform other duties as assigned by the leadership team, such as assisting the office manager and directors with preparing documents, organizing files, and generally keeping the office organized, tidy, and running smoothly. HEALTH TECH/OFFICE AIDE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Greeting visitors, parents, or vendors, signing them in, and directing them as needed., • Assist with office inquiries and resolve fundamental issues., • Answering phone calls and directing them to appropriate personnel., • Sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages., • Filing and organizing office documents, both physical and digital., • Administer basic first aid and assist in managing minor injuries and illnesses., • Recognize emergencies and initiate appropriate action until the school nurse or emergency services arrive., • Assist in managing student medication administration according to established guidelines., • As required by school district policy and state regulations, assist in conducting routine health screenings (e.g., vision, hearing, scoliosis)., • Maintain and update student health records based on screening results., • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student health records, including immunization records, health conditions, and medication administration logs., • Assist with required state and district reporting related to student health., • Monitor students with chronic health conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, or allergies, and ensure proper protocols are followed., • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, • Prior experience handling office responsibilities, experience in customer service, or related field, • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars g suite familiarity, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment, • We offer a competitive compensation package that includes comprehensive health benefits., • Salary Range: $17.06-$20.88, • This position will be for the 2025-2026 school year Mandatory Background Checks: In alignment with our commitment to student safety, all candidates are required to undergo a comprehensive fingerprint background check.
