Job Description Our Fulfillment team’s main goal is to ensure all daily orders / builds are filled. The team receives the product and prepares it for shipment. You’ll work in our hybrid kitchen/warehouse environment and will be required to operate warehouse machinery & tools including our cookie wrapping machine and pallet jacks. Our team relies on strong multitasking skills, excellent communication, and stamina. Our fulfillment associates spend their days getting fresh-baked cookies wrapped into dozens, packed into boxes, and organized into orders to be shipped. Additional tasks include inventorying, occasional offloading of stock deliveries, and with the proper packaging. Our warehouse team is responsible for processing 20K-30K packages every month, so attention to detail is a must! Job Duties Include: • Packing products and paperwork in their respective boxes, • Maintaining a clean and safe work space, • Shipping / Receiving, • Inventory & Quality Control We are looking for a self-motivated / multitasking individual to work in our fast-paced warehouse. Previous experience working with merchandise in a warehouse may improve hireability, but is not necessary - we want someone who has great stamina, concentration, and attitude and is a good fit with our fun team. You will need to be able to lift 25-35 lbs. and be willing to stand for 8-10 hours a day. The perfect candidate will be open to working overtime and some weekends. Job Summary Summary: Prepares baked goods according to recipes and production specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets; assists in production planning to meet daily requirements., • Ensures proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes, following prescribed production standards and use of proper equipment., • Assists with the completion of production records to include waste tracking, used/unused portions and product shortages; informs supervisor when supplies are low., • Ensures proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures., • Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area., • Handles foods items appropriately and with all safety regulations in mind during preparation and service., • Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments. Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris., • Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly and customer-service oriented manner. Relays relevant concerns from customers directly to supervisors., • Consistently exhibits the ability to keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently., • Checks to ensure that all food is presented, served and displayed per standards., • Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment, ensuring corporate and OSHA safety standards are followed., • Completes shift work, as assigned, in a timely and thorough manner in accordance with department standards. Schedule and coordinate wedding cake deliveries., • Communication and Management: Handle the main inbox, ensuring timely responses (within 48 hours) to custom estimate inquiries, updating order details, and managing online orders via Square., • Financial Responsibilities: Invoice customers for custom orders, process payments using Square, and manage inventory for boxes and other production and delivery items., • Marketing and Design: Utilize Canva for designing marketing materials such as menus, business cards, and flyers. Manage social media accounts, including posting photos, reposting story tags, and responding to direct messages., • Wholesale Coordination: Maintain and coordinate existing wholesale relationships, including order updates, invoicing, and delivery arrangements., • Team Leadership and Training: Ensure clear communication across departments, train employees as needed, provide feedback, and ensure a clean, safe, and appealing environment for customers and employees., • Operational Responsibilities: Open and close the store front, adhere to operational procedures, including task lists and tracking sheets, greet and assist customers, answer phones and messages promptly., • Delivery and Decoration: Assist with deliveries for wholesale and special event deliveries during peak season, and either possess or be willing to learn cupcake frosting/decorating skills., • Customer Service: Handle customer complaints and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
