The internship hours are Monday - Sunday from 9am to 5pm. It is recommended that the internship be completed within a 7 day period. And selected interns need to be available all 7 days. The training covers the core competencies required for the RBT role, including the principles of ABA, data collection, behavior reduction, and skill acquisition strategies, all provided by PLLS. After completing the 40-hour training, the candidate will undergo a competency assessment conducted by a BCBA (Board-Certified Behavior Analyst). This assessment tests practical skills in implementing ABA techniques acquired over the course of the internship. Upon completion of the the Internship, and demonstration of proficient skills and competence, the BT may be offered a position with the condition of obtaining registration within 90 days of employment.
