Responsibilities: • Provide evidence-based therapy plans, goals, and therapeutic treatment for speech/language disorders., • Evaluate and implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders., • Case Management for students on caseload, • Attend, facilitate, and write legally compliant/defensible IEPs, • Provide supervision for a CF or SLPA if needed or as appropriate., • Performs other related duties as assigned by management., • Attend training as requested, collaborate, and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.Qualifications:, • REQUIRED: Current California SLP License, • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders. CFY's accepted and encouraged to apply., • Experience with Case Management & IEP Writing, • Knowledge of Special Education compliance law & regulations, • Must have a strong desire to work with a wide array of populations, • Exercise good judgment in prioritization - complete assigned tasks without supervision, • Ability to build rapport with staff, • Excellent written skills and efficient verbal communication at all organizational levels, • Positive and collaborative demeanor.We offer competitive compensation, extensive resources & support, mileage reimbursements, and professional development plans.
