Job Description Samsung SDSA is seeking a results-driven and experienced professional to oversee the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Business Support functions for Strategic Account Management Office. This role is crucial in driving financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring alignment between financial planning, operational execution, and corporate objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, analytical expertise, and cross-functional communication skills to manage a small team and collaborate across departments including operations, sales, logistics, and IT. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): • Lead the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and mid- to long-term financial plans., • Analyze financial performance (P&L, cost centers, variance analysis) and develop actionable insights for senior leadership., • Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting packages in compliance with HQ and internal requirements., • Support corporate reporting to Samsung SDS HQ (Korea), including management commentary and strategic analysis., • Partner with business unit leaders to support performance tracking, resource planning, and profitability analysis., • Provide financial insight into pricing, margin optimization, and cost control initiatives., • Support internal business transformation initiatives, including automation and process improvement projects., • Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects, • Supervise and mentor a small team of analysts and coordinators., • Set team goals, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely and accurate deliverables., • Promote professional development, knowledge sharing, and a collaborative team culture., • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field., • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business analysis., • Strong command of financial modeling, variance analysis, and forecasting techniques., • Demonstrated experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization, preferably within technology, logistics, or manufacturing., • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar)., • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is a plus., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to translate complex data into clear business insights., • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment., • Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and completeness., • Must be able to commute to the office based in Ridgefield Park, NJ., • MBA, CPA, or CFA designation preferred., • Knowledge of IFRS., • 1+ years of team lead or people management experience., • Experience in analyzing costs (e.g., unit economics, margin drivers) and translate findings into actionable recommendations., • Experience working in multicultural fast-paced environment.
