Summary: The Area Manager manages revenue/margin results by developing a direct sales support team and an indirect representative network driven toward growth and distribution of AlloSource Allografts in a defined region of the country. This position’s primary responsibility will be attainment of revenue targets and leadership of independent representative network in assigned area. Click link for more benefits details: View the 2026 Employee Benefits Summary Location: General vicinity of San Diego, CA and within 60 miles of a major airport Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Meet and exceed Area sales and margin quotas each M/Q/Y. Take full ownership of all territory field sales efforts, including directing local indirect distribution network and direct sales efforts, to achieve a minimum goal of 100% attainment of quota., • Maintain and grow existing AlloSource allograft business and achieve forecast of new product offerings., • Develop and maintain strong relationships with independent representative leaders, surgeons and key opinion leaders., • Lead and develop independent representative network to include but not limited to recruiting, training, expansion, and management to assigned sales goals., • Lead field relationships within the territory in order to drive sales with AlloSource Strategic partners, including their sales representatives and regional managers. Lead training and initiatives to meet overall product performance., • Respond and direct area team to handle specific customer inquiries, address competitive situations, meet with key physicians, and supply chain customers. Initiate follow-up as directed for product and customer complaints as needed., • Lead any AlloSource Associate Biologics Specialists, Biologic Specialists, Associate Area Managers, and Customer Success Coordinators, in support of territory and Company sales goals. Recruit, hire, train, mentor and manage territory sales representatives assigned to achieve sales goals., • In collaboration with customer service leadership, direct customer facing activities of the Customer Success Coordinators assigned to the territory., • Provide regular reporting of latest estimates for month end sales predictions for entire territory., • Produce and monitor monthly reporting of product demand/production into AlloSource’s Sales and Operations Planning program. Align sales forecast and product production planning in coordination with the S&OP process., • Lead monthly/quarterly business reviews with company sales leadership and finance, as needed., • Develop relationships with regional GPO and IDN leadership to drive sales and Company initiatives., • Collaborate with National Accounts Director and team to develop and execute regional GPO and IDN strategies and initiatives that meet revenue, margin, and supply goals., • Use company software to forecast, manage, choose and close sales opportunities., • Regular use of and input to CRM tools and EPICOR to manage customer interactions and sales orders, as required., • Ensure territory team assists marketing with customer engagement, voice of customer opportunities, and market intelligence., • Attend regional and national tradeshows as needed to drive interactions with customers to generate actionable sales leads., • Provide surgical case coverage as needed to support the business needs., • Overnight Travel Required- up to 70%., • Driving and commercial air-travel is a required function of this position., • Adhere to and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with current operating procedures, training requirements, safety practices and company policies., • May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree, • Minimum sales/marketing experience of 6-9 years in medical, pharmaceutical, medical testing, surgical, implantable, and/or disposable products within medical sites of care., • Experience working with and managing a direct and indirect medical sales model, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, • Ability to communicate in English proficiently (speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension), • Masters or MBA degree, • General Orthopedics, Neuro and Ortho Spine and/or Sports Medicine; experience in orthobiologics, cartilage It is the policy of AlloSource not to discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities in regard to application procedures, hiring, advancement, discharge, compensation, training or other terms, conditions and privileges of employment.
