All delivered with a 100% performance test passage rate. Summary Objective The Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for creating a positive and seamless experience for new hires. This role ensures that employees are well-integrated into Stellar Energy’s culture, operations, and safety practices from day one. Partnering closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Manufacturing Leadership, and Training teams, the Onboarding Specialist will coordinate all pre-boarding and onboarding activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while supporting employee engagement and retention. Essential Functions • Coordinate and facilitate the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, from pre-hire communication through the first 90 days of employment., • Create and extend offers., • Prepare e-mail templates for new hires., • Addresses new hires' queries regarding their employment agreements or contracts and payroll., • Ensure new hires have technical assistance to set up their hardware and software., • Arrange and complete paperwork related to new hires such as I-9s, contracts and non-disclosure agreements., • Prepare and distribute onboarding materials, including orientation schedules, training guides, and policy handbooks., • Conduct and/or facilitate new hire orientation sessions covering HR policies, benefits, and company culture., • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, addressing questions and ensuring a smooth transition into the workplace., • Track and monitor onboarding progress, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company requirements., • Collaborate with HR and Training teams to continuously improve onboarding programs and materials based on feedback and business needs., • Maintain accurate onboarding records and metrics to support reporting, compliance audits, and process improvements. Competencies • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written., • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple onboarding schedules simultaneously., • Customer-focused with a high level of professionalism and discretion., • Collaborative, able to partner effectively with HR, operations, and leadership teams., • Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and solving onboarding challenges. Work Location This position will be out of our Manufacturing Facility in Jacksonville, FL. Required travel to the corporate office as needed. Work Environment Most work is performed in an office environment. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travel None. Required Education and Experience. • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered., • 2+ years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, or onboarding, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment., • Knowledge of HR compliance, safety regulations, and labor laws., • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems; experience with applicant tracking or onboarding software, preferably ADP Workforce Now. Preferred Education and Experience • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) Work Authorization Must be authorized to work in the USA.
