Job Description ACR Health Services is seeking an experienced Community Behavioral Health Office Business Administrator to oversee billing, payroll, and compliance operations within our behavioral health programs. This role ensures accurate insurance billing and reimbursement across Georgia Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care, DFCS, and private payers, while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA, CMS, and Georgia DBHDD regulations. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with proven expertise in behavioral health billing, claims resolution, and financial administration. Responsibilities include submitting and reconciling claims, managing payroll, monitoring accounts receivable, maintaining audit-ready documentation, and generating compliance and financial reports. This position requires strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with EHR systems, and the ability to navigate complex payer requirements. Position Overview The Office Business Administrator plays a key role in ensuring accurate billing, timely reimbursement, and compliance with all payer and state requirements. This position manages financial and administrative operations that directly support the success and sustainability of our behavioral health programs. Key Responsibilities Behavioral Health Billing and Insurance Claims • Prepare, submit, and track insurance claims to Georgia Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), private insurers, Georgia DFCS, and other contracted payers., • Review billing information for accuracy, coding compliance, and documentation completeness before submission., • Resolve claim denials, rejections, and underpayments promptly and professionally., • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, Georgia DBHDD, and insurance payer regulations., • Process and verify bi-weekly payroll accurately and in compliance with labor laws and internal policies., • Manage accounts receivable, reconcile billing reports, and monitor payment postings to ensure timely collections., • Support internal and external audits by maintaining clear and compliant financial documentation., • Maintain organized records of contracts, insurance credentialing, billing documentation, and compliance reports., • Support preparation for state, federal, and managed care audits., • Implement and monitor internal controls to improve accuracy, efficiency, and accountability., • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Healthcare Management, or related field., • 3–5 years of experience in medical billing, behavioral health billing, or healthcare office administration., • Proven expertise in Georgia Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care, and DFCS billing and reimbursement., • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation)., • Experience using electronic health record (EHR) and billing systems., • Comprehensive knowledge of HIPAA, CMS, and Georgia DBHDD compliance standards., • Experience in a community behavioral health or nonprofit healthcare setting., • Familiarity with QuickBooks, ADP, or similar payroll and accounting systems., • Competitive salary based on experience, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • Paid time off (PTO) and holidays, • Retirement plan participation, • Monday to Friday, • 8-hour shift, • On-site (This is not a Remote Work Position)Company DescriptionACR Health Services (ACR) is a CARF accredited privately owned behavioral health organization that supports the most underserved and vulnerable members of our communities.
