Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons (SOS) in Montgomery, Alabama is actively seeking a Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon to join our well-established and respected practice in Montgomery, Alabama. This high-demand position offers immediate surgical volume, access to modern facilities, strong referral networks, and a clear path to partnership. Position Highlights • Mix of clinic and OR:, • 5 3 days in clinic, • 2 days in OR (cases typically 6:45 AM 3:30 PM), • Monday Friday schedule; no weekend clinic, • ModMed EMR, • Call shared equally among partners, • Onsite and nearby ancillary support: imaging, physical therapy, orthopaedic urgent care, • Practice support from 8 APPs and 6 therapists, • Modest general ortho responsibilities as you build your practice About Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons (SOS) • Collaborative group of 11 orthopaedic surgeons and 8 advanced practice providers, • 5 practice locations throughout the Montgomery area, • Fully integrated ancillaries:, • Physical and Occupational Therapy (6 PT/OTs and 8 PTAs), • DME, • Walk-in urgent orthopaedic care clinic, • ModMed EMR for seamless documentation, • Advanced Imaging Center and ASC, • Proud team physicians for the Montgomery Biscuits (Minor League Baseball) Compensation & Benefits: • Join as an Associate Physician with guaranteed base salary and productivity bonus, • No buy-in partnership track after just 2 years with additional income opportunities, • Residency/Fellowship stipend for those in training, • Access to best practices from nationally recognized ortho groups, • Mentorship from experienced peers across a large network, • Clinical autonomy and physician leadership Education and Experience • BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery with Fellowship training in Orthopedic Foot and Ankle, • Excellent communication skills, • Patient focused, collaborative, team player, • Eligible for or holding a valid Alabama medical license.
