About this role: OWL Services is looking for a IT Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our IT team. This is a hands-on technical role responsible for building and maintaining IT systems across Azure and on-premises environments. You’ll be a key contributor ensuring our infrastructure is secure, reliable, and ready to scale with the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across both cloud and physical datacenter technologies, troubleshooting complex problems, and driving improvements in modern IT environments. Responsibilities: • Build, configure, and maintain Azure infrastructure services including VMs, networking, RBAC, monitoring, cost management, and backup/recovery solutions., • Manage and support physical datacenter systems, including networking equipment, firewalls, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and backup solutions., • Implement and manage identity and access controls across Entra ID, Okta, MFA, and other IAM frameworks., • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across cloud and on-premises systems, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity., • Assist in infrastructure modernization initiatives, including migrating legacy systems to cloud-first or colocation environments., • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of system builds, configurations, network diagrams, and operating procedures., • Collaborate with IT leadership, security, and external partners to ensure infrastructure aligns with organizational standards and compliance requirements., • Successfully manage and deliver long-term projects by demonstrating strong organizational skills and ensuring initiatives are carried through to completion., • 5–7 years of hands-on experience managing Azure infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, RBAC, cost management, monitoring, networking)., • Strong technical expertise in on-premises datacenter operations—including networking (Fortinet firewalls, switches, routers), virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and storage systems., • Proficiency with identity and access management platforms such as Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Intune, and Okta., • Experience with endpoint and systems management tools (NinjaOne, ConnectWise, Microsoft 365/O365)., • Knowledge of network security best practices and experience supporting secure architectures (Zero Trust, PAM, MFA)., • Proven ability to deliver infrastructure projects independently and resolve complex technical issues., • 10 Paid Holidays, • Flexible Time Off, • 401(k) Company Match, • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, • HSA and FSA, • Disability & Occupational Accident Insurance, • Company-Paid Life Insurance Policy, • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
