Job DescriptionEquivity is seeking an experienced Remote Bankruptcy Paralegal to support attorneys handling both consumer and business bankruptcy matters, including Chapters 7, 11, and 13. This is a W-2 remote position offering competitive hourly compensation and the opportunity to work across varied bankruptcy matters in a fast-moving, client-driven environment. Candidates must be comfortable operating independently while maintaining high standards of responsiveness and accuracy What You’ll Do • Draft and file Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 petitions, schedules, statements, and related pleadings, • Support Chapter 11 matters, including preparation of voluntary petitions, schedules, statements of financial affairs, monthly operating reports, disclosure statements, and plans of reorganization (Subchapter 5 experience strongly preferred), • Prepare means tests, repayment plans, reaffirmation agreements, amendments, and related filings, • Prepare complete 341 meeting and hearing packets, including trustee-required documentation, and ensure all required materials are submitted timely, • Communicate with clients, trustees, courts, and creditors to collect documents and move cases forward, • Use platforms such as BestCase and Clio to maintain case accuracy and track progress, • Minimum 3 years of recent bankruptcy paralegal experience, • Direct experience with Chapters 7 and 13 required, • Chapter 11 experience required; Subchapter 5 strongly preferred, • Proficiency with BestCase, Clio, Microsoft Office, and Adobe, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to manage multiple cases independently in a remote environment, • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, • Paid sick time, employee discounts, and expense reimbursements, • Quarterly performance bonuses

Job Description LITIGATION PARALEGAL MONTGOMERY, AL Job Summary: Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal with at least five years of experience and a proven record of long-term, stable employment. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism in all case management tasks. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare, draft, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents., • Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and trial binders., • Conduct legal and factual research to support case preparation., • Summarize depositions, medical records, discovery responses, and other key documents., • Manage deadlines, court calendars, and document production., • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including witness coordination and trial exhibits., • Communicate with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel in a professional and courteous manner., • Support attorneys during hearings, mediations, and trials as needed.
