Job Description TechFlow Inc. has an opportunity for a Database Programmer (Sr.) with experiencein application development and sustainment activities for existing Department of Defense (DoD) systems in AWS and Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will assist our cross-functional team in providing life cycle support of the Enterprise Logistics Readiness Portfolio, Cargo and Personnel Movement Product Line Family of Systems at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL. They will have the knowledge and experience to support both Oracle and Microsoft database programming and administration. Effective communication, coordination and collaboration with multiple stakeholders are a must to maintain and enhance system/product capabilities, gain efficiencies and improvements, continue quick and effective issue resolution, and ensure production systems remain operational. Key Responsibilities • Provide database solutions in DISA and Cloud One (AWS, Azure) hosted environments., • Database programming and administration functions with both Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases for the US Air Force., • Create, modify, and use database procedures, processes, queries, triggers, scripts, and views., • Program, administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems., • Provide system and database engineering support for development, test, and production activities required for each software release., • Troubleshoot and repair database communication., • Follow software development, testing, security, and system fielding processes of the DISA and Cloud One hosted environments., • Supports development of architecture views for compliance with BEA, NDAA, DoDAF., • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical area. Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years’ experience., • Experience: 7+ years’ (minimum) in database programming and management, including in Oracle 12c and/or 19c, Microsoft SQL 2012 and later, and Azure SQL., • Experience with AWS, AWS GovCloud, Azure and/or Cloud One hosted database solutions, in native and hybrid cloud configurations, to provide sustainment of existing systems and recommendation for enhancements to make best use of cloud capabilities., • Experienced or familiar with appropriate task order related tools (or equivalent) such as: TFS, Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Remedy, Glassfish, Microsoft Office Suite., • Knowledge of Defense Transportation systems, functions, and terminology., • General understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) business and financial systems., • Active DoD Secret Clearance, • Experience supporting DoD applications., • Experience with development, test, and production environments in DISA, AWS and Azure, especially GovCloud/CloudOne. #techflow Benefits Founded in 1995 at the start of the dot-com revolution, TechFlow helped large commercial clients such as DreamWorks, Toshiba, MGM, and others modernize their business systems.
